    About Us

Outdoor Experiences for All Ages & Interests
Whether you're a teacher looking to get your students outside, a hiker in search of a new adventure, a parent looking for family-friendly fun, or simply someone who wants to dig deeper into local natural history, the Harris Center can help you connect to the natural world.

Every year, more than 2,500 students in 30 Monadnock Region schools embark on learning expeditions with Harris Center teacher-naturalists. From inventorying neighborhood birds to looking for mammal tracks in winter snow or investigating vernal pools, we help children develop and deepen their connection with nearby nature.

The Harris Center's community programs help curious learners of all ages dig deeper into the natural world, from babies in backpacks to retirement communities, and all points in between.
