Gala Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Display to Launch on Saturday, July 5th Peterborough, NH

PETERBOROUGH, NH - The Peterborough Fireworks will be held this year on Saturday, July 5th, at the ConVal Athletic Fields on Route 202, just one mile north of Town. With acres of wide open fields, the location gives spectators an up-close-and-personal connection with the amazing pyrotechnic display by Atlas PyroVision. Over the years, this event has become an outing for the entire family, with concession stands serving hamburgers, hotdogs, and soft drinks. The well-known local band, Dave and the Daddy O's, will be there to entertain audiences prior to the display.

The details have been finalized and those in attendance at the fireworks extravaganza will witness a display which has long been known as one of the largest displays in the region. Atlas PyroVision is well known for its fireworks spectacular for the Boston Pops as well as displays in Washington, DC, and numerous other locations around the world. This event is made possible again this year due to the generous donation from The Petersons, Inc., Real Estate firm. Admission is only $2 per head, with no family paying more than $10. Parking is free. Gates open at 6 PM, and the fireworks display will begin at dusk. Because the event is held on school property, no alcohol, tobacco products, firearms, sparklers, or pets are allowed.
