SYMPHONIC VARIATIONS Ashton’s seminal masterpiece celebrates the pure beauty of movement. MARGUERITE AND ARMAND Frederick Ashton created this passionate ballet for the celebrated partnership of Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev, to Liszt’s tempestuous Piano Sonata.
