On Thursday, March 15 at 6:30pm, Becky Sakellariou will present her ongoing project, “Refugees: Women’s Voices and their Stories.” This is part of her larger work, “Refugee Lives Always Matter,” which has evolved from her four years of involvement with the refugees that, at first, poured through Greece on their way to Europe, and since 2016, those who got stranded in Greece due to new European regulations. This past October, Becky interviewed four women, and will be telling us their stories, accompanied by slides, and the sound of the women’s voices in their own languages.
