Our guest speaker is Nancy DuBosque, Regional Director of the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center.
Nancy DuBosque joins the NH SBDC as the new Regional Director at Keene State College. She holds her M.Ed. in Administration and Management from Cambridge College, and has served the Northern New England small business community for over twenty years as a lender, consultant, regional planner and teacher. Developer and Manager of the Venture Center Small Business Incubator in Greenfield, Massachusetts, Nancy coordinated federally funded community business loan programs and regional job development and entrepreneurship training initiatives in partnership with the Small Business Development Center, Housing and Urban Development, and the Department of Labor. As a regional economic and community development planner, Nancy has helped to lead revitalization of several communities and regions, including the Connecticut River community of Turners Falls, MA and New Hampshire’s North Country. Most recently specializing in developing business models for the non-profit sector, her broader industry sector experience ranges from small scale agriculture and light manufacturing, to tourism, service and retail. Her small business knowledge-base and experience includes business feasibility and start up, business planning, cash flow management, marketing, commercial real estate, and B2B networking.
