A New Hampshire native, Phil McFarland has served in a broad spectrum of roles within healthcare industry for over 25 years. In his current role at Monadnock Community Hospital, he oversees their marketing and communications, in a position he helped develop 6 years ago. Certified in LEAN/Six-Sigma process analysis, he has a passion for strategic development, organizational change and team building. In a previous role at MCH, Phil worked on the managerial team that launched the Bond Wellness Center. In total, Phil has worked MCH for 16 years.
Prior to MCH, Phil worked at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center for 12 years in a variety of program management positions. He also helped lead their crises de-escalation training program. Following his work at CMRC, Phil’s passion for team building led him to work with VDG Global, Inc, where he facilitated middle-management training at Motorola in the UK.
Phil and his wife Kate daily celebrate their 32 years of marriage. They have been blessed with three amazing children. Marielle, their oldest daughter, recently received her masters degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. She is employed as a financial analyst for Henrico County. Susan, their middle daughter, teaches 10th grade honors English in Goffstown and their son Peter works for Verizon in Baltimore, MD.
Phil has a lifelong love of music and is on the pastoral staff of the Bedford Foursquare Church, where he oversees worship ministry. In addition, Phil has devoted himself the study, design and care of bonsai for 35 years.
